Miguel Pardeza Pichardo, born on February 8, 1965, is a Spanish former professional footballer. He played as a forward, which means he was an attacking player who scored goals.
He was part of a famous group of players at Real Madrid called La Quinta del Buitre. This name means "The Vulture's Cohort" and referred to five talented young players. Even though he started at Real Madrid, Miguel spent most of his playing career at Real Zaragoza.
After he stopped playing football, he went back to Real Madrid to work in a management role. Pardeza played in 325 La Liga matches over 13 seasons, scoring 81 goals. He also played for the Spanish national team in the 1990 FIFA World Cup.

Playing for Clubs
Starting at Real Madrid
Miguel Pardeza was born in La Palma del Condado, a town in Spain. He joined the youth team of Real Madrid, one of the biggest football clubs in the world. He made his first appearance for the main team during the 1983–84 season.
After playing for Real Madrid, he was loaned to Real Zaragoza for a short time. A loan means he played for another team temporarily. He then returned to Real Madrid. In the 1986–87 season, he played 25 games and scored five goals, helping his team win the national league title.
Becoming a Star at Real Zaragoza
In 1987, Pardeza signed a permanent contract with Real Zaragoza. He quickly became one of their most important players. He was known for his skills, his ability to see the game well, and his goal-scoring talent. In four different seasons, he scored more than ten goals.
In the 1994–95 season, he scored 11 goals in La Liga. That same season, he helped Zaragoza win the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup. This was a big European competition, and they won against the English team Arsenal.
Retirement and Management Role
After his time at Zaragoza, Miguel Pardeza played briefly for Puebla FC in Mexico. He retired from playing football in 1999 when he was 34 years old.
In June 2002, he became the technical director for Real Zaragoza, the club where he had so much success. Seven years later, in 2009, he returned to his first club, Real Madrid. He took on the same role there, helping with the club's football operations.

Pardeza also worked with newspapers and radio stations, sharing his thoughts and knowledge. From 1990, he was a speaker for the Association of Spanish Footballers, which helps football players. Since 1996, he has been its secretary-general, a very important leadership role.
