Miguel Torrejos Tanfelix (born September 21, 1998) is a Filipino actor. He started his acting journey at a young age. Miguel is well-known for his roles in popular TV shows like Niño (2014), where he played a boy with special needs. He also starred in Wish I May (2016) with Bianca Umali. You might also remember him as Young Pagaspas in the fantasy series Mulawin (2004) and as Steve Armstrong in Voltes V: Legacy (2023).

Miguel's Early Life and Family
Miguel Tanfelix was born on September 21, 1998, in Dasmariñas, Cavite, Philippines. He is the older of two children. His parents, Mary Grace Torrejos and Gary Tanfelix, are both teachers and love to go mountaineering. Even though they live in Cavite, Miguel's family also has a home in Parañaque. This helps him save time when he needs to film for his shows. Miguel finished high school at Cavite School of Life. He is now studying entrepreneurship at De La Salle University-Dasmariñas.
Starting His Acting Journey
From StarStruck Kids to Big Roles
Miguel was only five years old when he joined StarStruck Kids in 2004. This was a TV show where young talents competed to become actors. Miguel was named the "First Prince" of his season, which meant he was one of the top young stars.
After StarStruck Kids, Miguel quickly joined the cast of the popular fantasy series Mulawin. He played the role of Young Pagaspas, a bird-like human. The next year, he appeared in another fantasy show called Majika (2006). He also played Pepe Javier in the drama Now and Forever: Linlang.
From 2007 to 2012, Miguel often played the younger versions of main characters in many GMA series. Some of these roles include Young Aldrin Griego in Pati Ba Pintig ng Puso and Young Junjun in La Vendetta.
His Big Break with Niño
In 2014, Miguel got his biggest role yet in the TV series Niño. He played the main character, a boy with special needs. His acting in Niño was highly praised. He even received three different acting nominations for his performance. In the same year, Miguel became a co-host and performer on Sunday All Stars. He also starred in the comedy show Ismol Family with his on-screen partner, Bianca Umali.
In 2015, Miguel led another primetime series called Once Upon a Kiss. He also helped host the sixth season of StarStruck, the show where he first started his career. In 2016, Miguel and Bianca Umali starred together again in the afternoon drama Wish I May.
