Even before 1995, in the late 1980s, Mike was already a popular DJ in the city of Detroit. He often performed at famous places like the Motor Lounge, St. Andrew's Hall, Panacea, and the Majestic Cafe.
Helping Young People
Besides being a DJ, Mike Huckaby also loved to help young people. He was a volunteer mentor at a program called Youthville. There, he taught classes on how to make music. He especially helped young people who were interested in electronic music.
Later Life
Mike Huckaby passed away on April 24, 2020, at the age of 54. He had been hospitalized after an illness.
