High School Basketball
Michael Moore played basketball during his high school years. He attended James Kenan High School in Warsaw, North Carolina.
College Basketball Journey
After high school, Michael chose to play college basketball. He joined Mount Olive College. In his final year with the Mount Olive Trojans, he played really well. He scored about 12.3 points per game. He also grabbed 5.8 rebounds and made 1.5 assists per game. Because of his great performance, he was chosen for the Conference Carolinas All Third-team.
Professional Basketball Career
Michael Moore started his professional basketball career in 2016. He was not chosen in the 2014 NBA draft, but he still found a team.
Early Professional Teams
Michael first joined Cestistica Civitavecchia in Italy. The next year, he moved to Denmark. He played for the Svendborg Rabbits in the Basketligaen league. There, he scored an average of 15.8 points in each game. In 2018, after a short time with Cañeros del Este, he joined Borås Basket in Sweden.
Playing in Different Leagues
In 2019, Michael joined the Brooklyn Nets for the Las Vegas Summer League. This is a special event where players show their skills. Later, he played for two teams in Italy during the 2019–2020 season. He played for Virtus Roma and then Latina. With Latina, he averaged 11.8 points and 4.8 rebounds per game.
On July 18, 2020, Michael joined Iraklis in the Greek Basket League. This was another step in his international career.
On May 31, 2021, he signed with HydroTruck Radom in the Polish Basketball League. He continued to play for different teams across Europe.
On January 8, 2023, Michael Moore joined Covirán Granada in Spain. This team plays in the Spanish Liga Endesa, which is a top league.
Most recently, on July 16, 2024, he signed with the Antwerp Giants. This team plays in the BNXT League.
