History of Magnolia
The town of Magnolia has an interesting past. One important historical place is the Roger Dickson Farm. This farm was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. This means it is a special place recognized for its history.
Geography of Magnolia
Magnolia is found in the western part of Duplin County. It is a small town with a total area of about 2.6 square kilometers. All of this area is land. There are no large lakes or rivers within the town limits.
Getting Around Town
A main road, U.S. Route 117, goes right through the middle of Magnolia. This road can take you to other nearby towns.
- If you go north for about 7 miles, you will reach Warsaw.
- If you go south for about 11 miles, you will get to Wallace.

Interstate 40 is a big highway that runs just east of Magnolia. You can get onto I-40 from a couple of exits near town.
