Mikio Manaka (眞中 幹夫, Manaka Mikio, born May 22, 1969) is a Japanese former football player. He played as a defender. His younger brother, Yasuo Manaka, was also a football player.

Mikio Manaka's Football Journey
Mikio Manaka was born in Bando, Japan, on May 22, 1969. After finishing his studies at the University of Tsukuba, he began his professional football career.
Starting His Career at JEF United
In 1992, Mikio Manaka joined JEF United Ichihara. He quickly became an important player for the team. From 1994 onwards, he played in many matches as a central defender.
Moving to New Teams
In 1997, Manaka moved to Japan Football League club Brummell Sendai. He played only a few games there. The next year, in 1998, he joined Omiya Ardija.
Success with Yokohama FC
In 1999, Mikio Manaka made another move to Japan Football League club Yokohama FC. This was a very successful time for him. The club won the championship in both 1999 and 2000. Because of these wins, Yokohama FC was promoted to the J2 League, which is a higher division in Japanese football.
In July 2004, his younger brother, Yasuo Manaka, also joined Yokohama FC. Mikio Manaka decided to retire from playing football at the end of the 2004 season, at the same time as his brother.
