Starting Out in Football

Milan Lalkovič was born in Košice, a city in Slovakia. He began his football career playing for local teams like Košice-Barca and MFK Košice. When he was 14, in 2007, he moved to England to join the famous club Chelsea.

Playing for Different Teams

Even though he was with Chelsea, Milan spent time playing for other teams to gain experience. This is called a "loan deal," where a player temporarily plays for another club.

  • In 2010, he joined Doncaster Rovers for a short time. He played six games there before going back to Chelsea.
  • In 2011, he went on loan to ADO Den Haag, a Dutch club.
  • In 2012, he moved to Vitória de Guimarães in Portugal. Chelsea called him back in 2013 because he wasn't playing much.

Time at Walsall

On July 15, 2013, Milan joined Walsall on a six-month loan. He played well, scoring 4 goals in 24 games. His loan was extended until the end of the season. In May 2014, Chelsea let him leave the club for free.

Moving to Czech Republic and Barnsley

After leaving Chelsea, Milan signed with FK Mladá Boleslav in the Czech Republic in July 2014. Later, in January 2015, he moved back to England to play for Barnsley. He played 17 games for Barnsley before leaving at the end of the season.

Returning to Walsall

Milan rejoined Walsall in July 2015. He signed a one-year contract. He scored his first goal in his second time at Walsall during a League Cup match.

Playing for Portsmouth

In June 2016, Milan signed a two-year deal with Portsmouth. He scored his first goal for them in a big 5–1 win against Barnet.

In January 2017, he went on loan to Ross County, a team in Scotland, for the rest of that season. Later, his contract with Portsmouth ended early by agreement.

Back to the Czech Republic

In October 2018, Milan joined SK Sigma Olomouc in the Czech Republic. After that season, he moved to FC Baník Ostrava. In February 2021, he joined another Czech team, Příbram.

Coming Back to England

In November 2021, Milan returned to England to play for Boston United. After playing in Greece for two years, he came back to England again in October 2024, joining Stalybridge Celtic. The next month, he moved to his current club, Rushall Olympic.
