Milly-Molly-Mandy lives in a charming white cottage. She shares it with her big family. Many other interesting people and animals live nearby.
Milly-Molly-Mandy
Her full name is Millicent Margaret Amanda. But her family thought that was too long! She often wears a pink and white striped dress. Sometimes she adds a yellow hat. Milly-Molly-Mandy is always ready to help. She often runs errands for her family.
Milly-Molly-Mandy's Family
- Father: His name is John. He loves gardening. Father grows fresh vegetables for everyone to eat. He also sells some of them.
- Mother: Her name is Mary, but everyone calls her Polly. Mother cooks all the meals. She also takes care of the family's washing.
- Grandpa: He uses his pony, Twinkletoes, and a cart. Grandpa takes the vegetables to the market to sell.
- Grandma: She is very good at knitting. Grandma makes warm socks, mittens, and woollies for everyone. In one story, she teaches Milly-Molly-Mandy to knit a tea cosy.
- Uncle: His name is Joe. Uncle Joe looks after the farm animals. He keeps cows for milk and chickens for eggs.
- Aunty: Her name is Alice. Aunty Alice is skilled at sewing. She makes frocks and shirts for the family. She also helps keep the cottage clean.
- Great Aunt Margaret: She is Grandma's sister. Great Aunt Margaret visits for a few days in one story.

- Bunchy: Her real name is Violet Rosemary May. Bunchy becomes friends with Milly-Molly-Mandy when they both want the same fabric for a new dress.

- Mr Rudge: He is the village blacksmith. Milly-Molly-Mandy invites him to a party. Later, he gets married, and Milly-Molly-Mandy is a bridesmaid.
- Miss Edwards: She is a teacher at Milly-Molly-Mandy's school. Miss Edwards stays with Milly-Molly-Mandy's family for a few days. She is very different outside of school!
