Mimoza Hafizi was born in 1962. She is an Albanian politician and a physicist. A physicist is a scientist who studies how the universe works, from tiny atoms to giant galaxies. Mimoza Hafizi was a member of the Assembly of the Republic of Albania. This is like the parliament or congress in other countries, where laws are made. She represented the LIBRA Party.
Before joining LIBRA, she was a member of the Socialist Party from 2013 to 2016. In October 2016, she helped create the LIBRA Party with another politician, Ben Blushi. She ran for re-election in 2017 but did not win a second term in parliament.
Early Life and Education
Mimoza Hafizi was born on February 20, 1962, in a city called Shkodër in Albania. She loved science and went to the University of Tirana. There, she studied Physics and became a well-known astrophysicist in Albania. An astrophysicist studies stars, planets, and other things in space.
She continued her studies in France. She earned her doctorate degree in Theoretical Physics from Paris 7 University in 1995. Before that, she received her Master's degree in Theoretical Physics from the same university in 1991. She also studied at the École Normale Supérieure in Paris, which is a very famous school. In 2000, she became an Associate Professor of Physics.
Political Career
Mimoza Hafizi is a respected academic and a public figure. She became a Member of Parliament (MP) in 2013. She represented the Shkodër County area in the Albanian parliament. As an MP, she helped make decisions and laws for her country.
