The Minister of Justice in Kenya was an important government job created in 1963, after Kenya became independent from the United Kingdom. This person was in charge of making sure justice was carried out, helping different groups in the country get along, and dealing with laws about the country's constitution. For example, Martha Karua, who was a Minister of Justice, played a big role in creating the new Constitution of Kenya in 2010.
