Kids Encyclopedia Facts

Do you ever wonder who is in charge of a country or a big organization? This page is a list of people who currently hold important jobs or positions. These people are called incumbents. For example, a country's president or prime minister is an incumbent.

A special area of history, called archontology, studies who has held these important jobs in the past and who holds them now.
