The job of Prime Minister was first created in 1962. Later, in 1966, the Prime Minister at the time, Milton Obote, changed the country's rules and became President instead. He removed the Prime Minister job. But in 1980, the job of Prime Minister was brought back. Today, the President chooses the Prime Minister, and the country's Parliament must agree with the choice.
