The Prime Minister of Uganda is a very important leader in the country. This person leads the Cabinet of Uganda, which is a group of top government officials. Even though the Prime Minister leads the Cabinet, the President is the main leader of the government.
The job of Prime Minister was first created in 1962. Later, in 1966, the Prime Minister at the time, Milton Obote, changed the country's rules and became President instead. He removed the Prime Minister job. But in 1980, the job of Prime Minister was brought back. Today, the President chooses the Prime Minister, and the country's Parliament must agree with the choice.
Robinah Nabbanja has been the Prime Minister since June 21, 2021.

The Prime Minister's Office
The main office for the Prime Minister of Uganda is in a building called the Twin Towers. This building is on Sir Apollo Kaggwa Road in Kampala, which is Uganda's capital and largest city.
