This article lists the people who have been the president of FIFA. FIFA stands for the Fédération Internationale de Football Association. It is the main organization that runs association football (soccer) around the world.
The president is like the leader of this big football family. They help make important decisions for the sport.
Some past presidents, like Daniel Burley Woolfall, Rodolphe Seeldrayers, and Arthur Drewry, sadly passed away while they were still in office.
The current president is Gianni Infantino. He is from Switzerland and Italy. He was chosen on February 26, 2016. This happened at a special meeting of the FIFA Congress. Before him, Issa Hayatou from Cameroon was the acting president for a short time. This was after Sepp Blatter left the role in October 2015. Mr. Blatter was later not allowed to be involved in football activities for a period of time.
