The President of Honduras is the top leader of the country. This person is officially called the President of the Republic of Honduras. They act as both the head of state (representing the country) and the head of government (leading the government). The President is also the Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces, meaning they are in charge of the military.

Honduras has three main parts to its government: the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches. The President leads the Executive branch.
