The Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development (Georgian: საქართველოს ეკონომიკური განვითარების სამინისტრო) is a government department in Georgia. Its main job is to help manage the country's economy. The Ministry's head office is in Tbilisi. Currently, Levan Davitashvili is the leader of this Ministry.

What the Ministry of Economy Does
The Ministry of Economic Development was created in 1992. This was after the Soviet Union broke apart. In 2010, its name changed to the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development.
The Ministry's main goal is to help Georgia's economy grow. They do this by creating smart economic plans. These plans help businesses and create jobs for people.

The government had a plan from 2004 to 2009. It was called For United and Powerful Georgia. This plan aimed to make it easier to start and run businesses. It also wanted to make rules clear for private companies.
