Minos Xenophon "Minas" Kyriakou (born May 31, 1942 – died July 2, 2017) was an important Greek businessman. He was known for his work in media and shipping. He also played a big role in the world of sports. He was the president of the Greek Olympic Committee for many years.

Minos Kyriakou was born in Greece. His parents were Xenophon Kyriacou and Athina Revidies. He studied in different countries. He went to school in France and Switzerland. Later, he earned a bachelor's degree from Columbia University in the United States.
His Work and Businesses
Minos Kyriakou was a very successful entrepreneur. He started and owned the ANT1 Group. This is a large media company in Greece. One of its most famous parts is ANT1, which was one of the first private TV channels in Greece.
He also owned sports teams. He was the owner of Panellinios GS, a multi-sport club in Greece. He also owned the basketball team Panellinios.
His Love for Sports
Minos Kyriakou had a strong connection to the world of sports. After the 2004 Olympic Games were held in Athens, he became the president of the Greek Olympic Committee. This committee helps organize sports events in Greece. He served as president until 2009. He was also the President of the International Olympic Academy (IOA) from 2004 to 2009. In 2003, he was chosen to be part of the council for the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF).

Minos Kyriakou was married to Greek actress Mari Konstantatou. They were married in 2004. He had three children from his first marriage: two sons named Xenophon and Theodore, and a daughter named Athina.
