Tarsha Jones, known to many as Miss Jones, is an American singer and a popular radio host. She is famous for her R&B music and for hosting radio shows. Miss Jones made history as the first Black woman to host a morning radio show on a hip-hop station. Today, she hosts the morning show for "94.7 The Block" WXBK in the New York City area. This station plays classic hip-hop music.
Miss Jones's Career in Radio
Miss Jones has had a long and interesting career in radio. She was part of the Star and Buc Wild morning show on Hot 97. This was a very popular radio program.
In 2007, Miss Jones wrote a book about her life. It was called Have You Met Miss Jones?: The Life and Loves of Radio's Most Controversial Diva. This book became a best-seller. It was published by Random House.
In August 2022, Miss Jones started a new job. She began hosting the morning show at "94.7 The Block" WXBK. This station is in Newark, New Jersey. It is owned by a company called Audacy.
