Mojca Osojnik, born on June 29, 1970, is a talented artist from Slovenia. She is a wonderful painter and illustrator, especially famous for the beautiful pictures she draws in children's books.

Mojca was born in a city called Kranj. She studied art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana. She finished her studies in 1997 and then earned a special higher degree in 2001. For a few years, from 2001 to 2003, she lived and worked in Los Alamos.

Mojca has shown her amazing artwork in many exhibitions. These shows have been held both in Slovenia and in other countries. She loves to illustrate children's books, and she has even written some of them herself!

In 2003, Mojca Osojnik received a very important prize called the Levstik Award. She won this award for her book Hiša, ki bi rada imela sonce, which means "The House That Wanted to Be in the Sun."
