Daniel Denton, born on November 14, 1973, is a talented Canadian rapper and singer. He is much better known by his stage name, Moka Only. He has won many important music awards. These include three JUNO Awards and five MuchMusic Video Awards. He has also been nominated for 11 Western Canadian Music Awards.
Moka Only grew up in Langford, British Columbia, which is close to Victoria. He began his journey in music in Vancouver. He was once part of a hip hop group called Swollen Members. For a short time, he was also in the band Len. Moka Only has released his music through several different record labels. These include Feelin' Music, Legendary Entertainment, and URBNET Records.
In October 2018, Moka Only announced he would stop rapping. However, he soon changed his mind! He decided to return to music. He wanted to explore more jazz and instrumental music. He also continued to rap. In 2020, he released a single called "Easy Street." This led to his first extended play (EP) Microphone Deflection. He released this under the name Tank Gawd.

Moka Only is known for releasing a lot of music. He has put out many studio albums over the years. Some of his early albums include Upcoast Relix (1995) and Dusty Bumps (1996). He continued to release music almost every year. He also created a series of albums called Martian Xmas.
Besides his studio albums, Moka Only has released many shorter music collections called EPs. He has also put out several singles, which are individual songs. Moka Only has worked with many other artists too. He has been part of groups like Code Name: Scorpion and Dominant Mammals. He has also appeared as a guest on songs by other musicians. He has even produced music for other artists.
