Molly Jackson was a temporary leader, called the acting director, of the National Museum of Science and Industry (NMSI) in England. She held this important role from April 6 to September 23, 2009.

Before becoming acting director, Molly Jackson was in charge of the business side of NMSI, working as the managing director of NMSI Trading Ltd. She started that job in June 2004. Even before that, from 1993 to 2003, she worked in many different jobs at a big company called Pearson plc. One of her jobs there was helping to develop the Financial Times Group, which is a well-known newspaper and business information company.

Molly Jackson was chosen by a special group to become the permanent Director on April 7. However, her time as acting director ended before this appointment could be made permanent. She was then replaced as acting director by Andrew Scott. Andrew Scott had previously been the director of the National Railway Museum, which is also part of NMSI.
