Monalisa Chinyere Chinda, born on September 13, 1974, is a famous Nigerian actress. She is also a film producer, a host for TV shows, and a kind person who helps others. She has been active in the entertainment world since 1996.

Early Life and Education
Monalisa Chinda was born in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. Her parents are from the Ikwerre people. She is the oldest of six children in her family, with two brothers and four sisters.
She went to Army Children's School GRA for her primary education. Later, she attended Archdeacon Crowther Memorial Girls' School in Elelenwo. Both of these schools are in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Monalisa then studied theatre arts at the University of Port Harcourt. This helped her learn all about acting and making movies.
Career Highlights
Monalisa's first big movie role was in Pregnant Virgin in 1996. After she finished university in 2000, she acted in Above the Law. Since then, she has starred in many other films.
In 2007, Monalisa became even more famous when she appeared in the TV show Heaven’s Gate. In 2011, she became an Executive Producer for the first time. She worked on the movie Kiss & Tell with Emem Isong and Desmond Elliot. In 2012, she was one of the first four Nollywood actors to be featured on the cover of Hollywood Weekly Magazine. This was a big achievement for her.
In November 2014, Monalisa started her own TV talk show called 'You & I with Monalisa'. This show allowed her to explore new areas beyond acting.
Other Activities
Monalisa Chinda is also very involved in charity work. She cares about helping people and making a difference. She writes a column called "Monalisa Code" in The Sun Newspapers. In this column, she shares her thoughts on social issues and relationships.
She also works as a consultant with Royal Arts Academy. This is a media school that helps new actors, directors, and screenwriters learn and grow. Monalisa has also teamed up with Goge African to encourage more people to visit Nigeria as tourists.
