Mondulkiri is a province located in Cambodia. Its capital city is Senmonorom. Mondulkiri became a province on December 30, 1961. It was formed from the eastern part of Kratié Province.
Geography and Nature
Several rivers flow through Mondulkiri province. These include the Srepok, Preaek Chhbaar, and Preaek te Rivers.
The province is also home to important protected areas. These are special places where nature and wildlife are kept safe. Some of these areas are Keo Seima Wildlife Sanctuary, Phnom Prich Wildlife Sanctuary, and Srepok Wildlife Sanctuary.
