Monsters, Inc. Scream Factory Favorites is a super fun music album by the Western band Riders in the Sky. It came out on August 27, 2002. This album has songs from the popular Disney/Pixar movie, Monsters, Inc., plus some brand new songs made just for this album! It's a special album because it won a Grammy Award for Best Musical Album for Children in 2003. This was the second Grammy award for the band, which is a really big deal in music!
The album even came with the song lyrics inside. This way, you could sing along to all your favorite tunes.

How the Album Was Made
The album was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee. Joey Miskulin recorded parts of the album at the Musicwagon Studio. Brent Truitt also helped with recording at B. Truitt Music. Some extra recording was done by Tim Roberts.
After recording, the music was mixed by Dan Rudin at the Musicwagon Studio. Finally, it was made ready for listeners by Denny Purcell at Georgetown Masters in Nashville.
