Monte Pissis is a very tall mountain located in the Andes mountain range. This amazing peak is found in Argentina. It stands at about 6,793 meters (or 22,287 feet) high. This makes it the third highest mountain in the entire Andes!

Monte Pissis is part of a huge chain of mountains called the Andes. These mountains stretch along the western side of South America. Climbing Monte Pissis is a big challenge because it is so high. The air gets very thin at such heights, making it hard to breathe.
Who First Climbed Monte Pissis?
The very first people known to reach the top of Monte Pissis were two Polish climbers. Their names were Osiecki and Szczepanski. They made their incredible journey to the summit in 1937. It was a huge achievement for them!
