Starting His Journey
Motoki Imagawa was born in Tokyo, Japan, on May 17, 1980. He loved playing football from a young age. In 1996, he joined the youth team of a club called Brummell Sendai. This club later became known as Vegalta Sendai.
Playing for Vegalta Sendai
Motoki Imagawa began playing for Vegalta Sendai's main team in 1999. At that time, the team was part of the J2 League. This is Japan's second-highest professional football league.
He played his first professional game on August 1, 1999. This match was against Consadole Sapporo. During the 1999 season, he played in three matches. However, he did not play in any games during the 2000 season. Motoki Imagawa decided to stop playing football at the end of that season.
