Motonobu Tako's Football Story
Motonobu Tako was born in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, on April 22, 1972. He loved playing football from a very young age. He played all through his school years. After studying at Juntendo University, he became a professional football player.
Starting with Fukuoka Blux
In 1995, Motonobu Tako joined a team called Fukuoka Blux. This team was part of the Japan Football League. This league was one of the top professional football leagues in Japan at that time.
Moving Up to the J1 League
Fukuoka Blux had a fantastic year in 1995! They won the championship in the Japan Football League. Because they won, the team was promoted to the J1 League for the 1996 season. The J1 League is the highest level of professional football in Japan.
A Short Professional Career
When the team moved up to the J1 League, they changed their name to Avispa Fukuoka. Motonobu Tako was part of this team. However, he did not get to play much in the J1 League matches. He decided to retire from professional football at the end of the 1996 season.
