The Story of Warren Macdonald
In April 1997, a brave hiker named Warren Macdonald faced a very difficult situation on Mount Bowen. He became trapped under a huge, one-ton rock after a sudden rockfall. This was a very scary moment, and he was stuck for two days.
After a challenging rescue, Warren was finally freed. However, because of his injuries, he had to have both of his legs removed. This was a life-changing event, but Warren showed incredible strength and determination.
