Mount Magalloway, also known as Magalloway Mountain, is a cool place to visit in the Great North Woods of New Hampshire, USA. It is one of the tallest mountains in Pittsburg. This town is the very northernmost community in New Hampshire. The top of Mount Magalloway is about 3,383 feet (1,031 meters) high.
From the top of the mountain, you can see amazing views. There is an observation tower where you can look out. You can see parts of three different states. You can also see into the Canadian province of Quebec!

Mount Magalloway is a great spot for an adventure. It is popular with hikers who want to see incredible views. The mountain is easy to climb.
Getting to the Top
You can hike to the top of Mount Magalloway. There is a trail that is less than 1 mile (1.6 kilometers) long. This trail starts at the end of a logging road. You can find this road off Magalloway Road in eastern Pittsburg. The trail goes up about 800 feet (244 meters) from where it begins. It is a fun hike for many people.
The Summit Area
Once you reach the top, you will find a special area. There is a former watcher's cabin there. This cabin used to be for people who watched for forest fires. Now, the state lets people rent this cabin. It's a unique place to stay right on top of a mountain!
