Mountain View is a neighborhood located in Northeast El Paso, a part of the city of El Paso, Texas. It is bordered by several streets, including Dyer Street, Railroad Drive, Hondo Pass Avenue, and Hercules Avenue. This area also includes smaller neighborhoods like Las Sierras and Restlawn.

This neighborhood started being built in the early 1950s. It is known for its older single-family homes, often made of stucco or brick. Many people who live here are active or retired soldiers from nearby Fort Bliss.

Mountain View has some interesting places. There's a large park called Nations Tobin Park. You can also find businesses mostly along the main roads like Dyer Street and Hondo Pass Avenue. One older shopping center, Sunrise Center, used to be famous for its tall, glowing blue spire.

Every year, there's a fun event called the NorthEastern Parade. It's an Easter parade that goes along Diana Drive.

Many of the streets in Mountain View have cool names. They are often named after famous mountains or mountain ranges, like Mount Everest, Mount Whitney, and the Andes. However, some streets in the southeast part are named after Army bases, such as Riley and Bragg.
