Mr. Children, often called "Misuchiru" (error: {{nihongo}}: Japanese or romaji text required (help)), is a super popular Japanese rock band. They started making music together in 1988. This band is part of a company called Oorong-sha (烏龍舎). Their music is released by Toy's Factory, which is their record company.

Mr. Children is one of the most successful music groups from Japan. They have sold more than 50 million records! This makes them one of the biggest bands in Japanese music history.

The band Mr. Children has four main members. Each member plays an important role in making their music.

• Kazutoshi Sakurai (桜井和寿): He is the lead singer and also plays the guitar.
• Kenichi Tahara (田原健一): He plays the guitar.
• Keisuke Nakagawa (中川敬輔): He plays the bass guitar.
• Hideya Suzuki (鈴木英哉): He plays the drums.

Joining the Fan Club

Mr. Children has an official fan club called "Father & Mother." It started in 1994. If you want to join, you have to send your application by mail. There is a fee to join, which is 3,500 yen. You also need to renew your membership every year. Being a member can get you special concert tickets!
