The Story of Mrs. Winterbourne
This movie tells a unique story about mistaken identity and finding a new family.
A New Life Begins by Accident
The story starts with Connie Doyle, a young woman who is alone and pregnant. She accidentally gets involved in a train crash. During the crash, she meets a wealthy couple, Patricia and Hugh Winterbourne. Patricia is also pregnant.
Mistaken Identity and a New Family
After the accident, Connie wakes up in the hospital. Everyone thinks she is Patricia Winterbourne because of a mix-up. Patricia and Hugh both died in the crash. Connie, still confused, decides to go along with the mistake. She is welcomed into the rich Winterbourne family.

Connie now lives in a fancy mansion with Grace Winterbourne, Hugh's mother. She also meets Bill, Hugh's twin brother.
