Where is Mulkeytown Located?
Mulkeytown is in the state of Illinois. It is about 309 miles (497 km) south of Chicago. It is also about 95 miles (153 km) southeast of St. Louis. You can find Mulkeytown on Illinois Route 184. It is about 3 miles (5 km) west of a town called Christopher.
The community is part of Tyrone Township. Mulkeytown covers a total area of 0.28 square miles (0.71 square kilometers). Almost all of this area is land.

Mulkeytown's History
Mulkeytown got its name from a preacher named John Mulkey. He started the Mulkeytown Christian Church in 1818. This church is the oldest one in the community.
