This museum is special because it's spread across three beautiful buildings: the Palacio de Velarde, the House of Oviedo-Portal, and the House of Solís-Carbajal. The idea for the museum started way back in 1844, but it officially opened its doors on May 19, 1980. It began with an amazing art collection from the old province of Oviedo.
