Mustafa Mujezinović was an important Bosnian politician. He was born on December 27, 1954, and passed away on December 23, 2019. He is best known for serving as the 7th Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is one of the two main parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He held this high position from 2009 to 2011.

Mustafa Mujezinović grew up in Sarajevo. He finished elementary school in 1970 and high school in 1974. He then went on to study at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Sarajevo, graduating in 1978.

Early Career and Education

Mustafa Mujezinović started his professional life as an engineer. From 1978 to 1983, he worked as a designer. Later, he became a quality engineer at a factory called TTS, which was part of Energoinvest Sarajevo. This company made transformers and other electrical equipment.

From 1983 to 1990, he managed the technical sales team at the same factory. He then became a sales manager and a member of the management board until 1992.

Public Service and Leadership Roles

Mustafa Mujezinović began his career in public service in the mid-1990s. From 1994 to 1995, he was the president of the Stari Grad municipality in Sarajevo. He then served as the Mayor of the same municipality from 1995 to 1996.

He continued to take on more leadership roles. From 1996 to 1998, he was the Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton. After that, he became the Governor of the Sarajevo Canton from 1998 to 2000.

International and National Roles

Mustafa Mujezinović also represented Bosnia and Herzegovina on the world stage. From 2000 to 2001, he served as the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe. This organization works to keep peace and stability in Europe.

After his time as an ambassador, he worked in finance. From 2002 to 2004, he was the director of a privatization fund called "Prevent Invest." He then returned to diplomatic work. From 2004 to 2008, he was the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Malaysia.

In 2008, he became an adviser to the Board of the Development Bank of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. His most significant role came in 2009. He was appointed as the Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He held this important position until 2011, helping to lead one of the main parts of his country.
