Vjekoslav Bevanda (born 13 May 1956) is a Bosnian Croat politician. He was the leader of the government in Bosnia and Herzegovina from 2012 to 2015. This role is called the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
After that, he was in charge of the country's money as the Minister of Finance and Treasury from 2015 to 2023. He also served as the temporary Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2009.
From 2007 to 2011, he was the Federal Minister of Finance. Vjekoslav Bevanda is a member of the Croatian Democratic Union political party.

Early Life and School
Vjekoslav Bevanda was born in Mostar, which was part of Yugoslavia at the time, on 13 May 1956. He went to primary and high school in his hometown.
In 1979, he finished his studies at the Faculty of Economy at the University Džemal Bijedić of Mostar. He earned a degree in economics.
Early Jobs
Before becoming a politician, Bevanda worked in different jobs. From 1979 to 1989, he worked for an aircraft company called "SOKO" in Mostar.
Later, from 1990 to 1993, he worked at "APRO" bank, also in Mostar. He then worked for "Euro Center" in Split from 2000 to 2001. From 2001 to 2007, he was a director at "Commerce Bank" in Sarajevo.
Political Journey
Vjekoslav Bevanda joined the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ BiH) political party. From March 2007 to March 2011, he was the Federal Minister of Finance. During this time, he was also the Vice President of the Federal Government.
Before these roles, he helped with various laws for the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. On 27 May 2009, he became the temporary Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He took over after Nedžad Branković resigned. He was replaced by Mustafa Mujezinović on 25 June 2009.
Leading the Government
After a period where it was hard to form a new government, Bevanda became the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina on 12 January 2012. This was part of a group of six political parties, including his own. He led the Council of Ministers until 31 March 2015.
Minister of Finance
On 31 March 2015, Bevanda was chosen as the new Minister of Finance and Treasury. He worked in the government led by Denis Zvizdić. He continued in this role when Zoran Tegeltija became the leader of the government.
Vjekoslav Bevanda's time as Minister of Finance ended on 25 January 2023. He was succeeded by Zoran Tegeltija when a new government, led by Borjana Krišto, was formed.
Family Life
Vjekoslav Bevanda is married to Ljiljana Bevanda. They have two daughters together.
