Movie Story: Lights, Camera, Friendship!
The My Scene girls, including Barbie, Chelsea, Madison, Nolee, and Delancey, are going to high school in Manhattan. One day, they find out that a new teen spy movie is being filmed there. It's called "Spy Society." The movie stars Lindsay Lohan as the main character, Laural St. Clair. A fictional character named Ryan Ridley plays her love interest.
The girls go to watch the movie being filmed. They get a fun idea: they decide to sneak onto the set! They pretend to be extra actors in the background.
Working on a Movie Set
While working as extras, the girls quickly learn that making a movie is a lot of hard work. They have to get to the set very early in the morning. They also spend hours doing the same scene over and over again. Chelsea gets some funny and not-so-glamorous roles. She plays a "sweat girl" and a "trash girl." She even has to clean up after horses used in the movie!
The girls had imagined becoming best friends with Lindsay Lohan. It turns out Lindsay is very nice and down-to-earth. They do end up becoming friends with her!
Madison's Big Break
One day, an actress gets hurt on her way to the set. She can't play her part anymore. Madison is called in to take her place! The actress she's replacing plays the movie's main female villain. This character only has five lines to say.
After a while, Madison starts to let the fame get to her head. She begins to think that she and Ryan are dating. They often go out together, and gossip magazines call her "Ryan's Mystery Girl."
Friendship Troubles
Madison gets invited to a party with Ryan and Lindsay. Her friends show up to surprise her. However, Madison acts very rude to them. She pretends she doesn't even know them! She starts acting and dressing like a diva. She also avoids her lifelong friends. This makes her friends very angry with her. They start avoiding Madison too.
As the movie filming is about to finish in New York, Madison asks Ryan about their relationship. Ryan is surprised by her question. He tells her that he doesn't see Madison as his girlfriend. This leaves Madison heartbroken. She realizes Ryan never felt the same way about her.
Making Amends
Lindsay sees what happens and goes to tell the other girls. But they are still mad at Madison for how she treated them. They don't seem to care, feeling she deserves it. Lindsay gets upset and gives the girls a short talk about how important friendship is. She points out that even though Madison was rude, she needs them now more than ever.
Hearing Lindsay's words, the girls get over their anger. They go to Madison's apartment. There, they all apologize to each other and become friends again.
Movie Premiere
Six months later, the girls all go to the red carpet premiere of the movie. They meet up with Lindsay there. When Ryan arrives at the premiere, he tries to get Madison and Lindsay's attention. But they ignore him! They go to watch the movie with their friends instead.
