Myha'la Jael Herrold (/mˈhɑːlə/;), sometimes credited mononymously as Myha'la, is an American actress. She is known for her role as Harper Stern in the British television drama Industry and her film roles in Bodies Bodies Bodies (2021), and Leave the World Behind (2023).

Early life and education

Herrold was born and grew up in San Jose, California. Her mother, Susan, ran a salon. Her father is Jamaican.

She attended Archbishop Mitty High School and Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama, graduating in 2018.

Career

Herrole started her career acting primarily in theater roles, including a touring production of The Book of Mormon in 2017, playing Nabulungi.

She played a small role in Premature (2019), an indie film directed by Rashaad Ernesto Green, and also in season 1 of the TV series Modern Love (in the episode "So He Looked Like Dad. It Was Just Dinner, Right?"), which aired in October 2019.

In 2020 she played Harper Stern in the financial drama series Industry.

In 2023, she starred in the Black Mirror episode "Loch Henry".

She is sometimes credited simply as "Myha'la".
