The Mystery Begins
The story starts when a rich Japanese businessman arrives in the United States. Soon after, he mysteriously disappears. Frank and Joe Hardy's father, Fenton Hardy, is a famous detective. He was in charge of keeping the businessman safe.
Fenton is very surprised and worried by the disappearance. The FBI even takes him off the case. But Frank and Joe are ready to help. They decide to investigate the mystery themselves.
A Stolen Sword
During their investigation, a very old samurai sword is stolen. This sword was said to belong to the missing businessman's family for many years. It was taken from an auction house in New York City.
Frank and Joe quickly think the stolen sword is connected to the missing businessman. They follow every clue they find. Danger often pops up as they search for answers.
The boys need to figure out who is behind these strange events. Did someone kidnap the businessman? Or did he choose to hide? What is the big secret about the stolen samurai sword? Frank and Joe must solve these puzzles.
