Her Early Life and Art School

Márta Lacza was born in 1946. Her hometown was Csepel, a district in Budapest, Hungary. She loved art from a young age.

In 1967, she finished high school, focusing on fine arts. Later, from 1970 to 1974, she studied at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts. This is a famous art school in Hungary. Her teachers there were Simon Sarkantyú and Károly Raszler.

Since finishing her studies, Márta Lacza has shown her art in many places. She has had solo shows in Hungary and other countries. Her artworks have been displayed in big cities like London, Hamburg, and Copenhagen.

Awards and Special Projects

Márta Lacza received a special award called the Derkovits Scholarship. This scholarship helped her with her art from 1980 to 1983. In 1983, she won another important award, the Munkácsy Prize. This prize is given to talented Hungarian artists.

In March 1982, a TV show was made about her. It was called The TV gallery. Lacza Martha graphic artist. This show was broadcast on Hungarian national television.
