Nadia Buari (born November 21, 1982) is a famous actress from Ghana. She has been nominated for the Best Actress award twice at the Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2009.

Nadia Buari's Early Life

Nadia Buari was born in Sekondi-Takoradi, Ghana. Her father is from Lebanon and her mother is Ghanaian.

She went to Mfantsiman Girls' Secondary School. Later, she studied performing arts at the University of Ghana. She earned a special degree called a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA). While at the university, Nadia loved being part of drama and dance clubs.

Nadia Buari's Acting Career

Nadia Buari first appeared on Ghanaian TV in late 2005. This was in a TV show called Games People Play. Her first big movie role was in Mummy's Daughter.

After that, she starred in Beyonce: The President's Daughter. Her role as "Beyonce" made her very well-known. She has acted in more than 20 movies since then.

In 2013, Nadia Buari created her own movie. It was called The Diary of Imogene Brown. In 2023, she acted with another Ghanaian star, Nana Ama McBrown. This was in a movie called Coming Africa: Welcome to Ghana.

Becoming Famous in Nollywood

Around 2008, Nadia Buari started acting in Nollywood films. Nollywood is the name for the Nigerian film industry. Her most famous role in Nollywood was in the movie Beyonce & Rihanna. She played Beyonce, and Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde played Rihanna.

This movie became very popular in both Ghana and Nigeria. Nadia also starred in other well-known Nollywood films. These include Rough Rider, Beauty and the Beast, Holding Hope, and Single and Married.

She has also acted alongside Nigerian actor Jim Iyke in several movies. Some of these films are the Beyonce & Rihanna series, Hot Romance, and Behind a Smile.

In 2013, she won an award in New York City. It was the Pan African Actress award at the annual Nigerian Entertainment Awards (NEA Awards).

In 2019, Nadia Buari shared some personal news. She said in an interview that she is married and has four children.

Her siblings are Malik Buari, Ayisha Buari, Shaida Buari, Jameel Buari, and Jeed Rogers. Her parents are Sidiku Buari and Hajia Buari.

In an interview in July 2023, she talked about balancing her work as an actress and her duties as a mother. She said her mother helped her a lot.
