Nali Sauce is a very popular hot sauce from Malawi, a country in Africa. Many people call it "Africa's hottest peri-peri sauce." It's famous for its super spicy kick and great taste. Chilli fans all over the world love Nali Sauce. It has a heat level of about 175,000 Scoville heat units, which is a way to measure how hot a chilli is.

Nali Sauce is made from special peri-peri chillies grown in Malawi. These are called "birds eye chillies" and are known as some of the hottest in Africa. Nali Limited has been making this sauce since the 1970s. You can find Nali Sauce in many countries, including Zambia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Kenya, Mozambique, and South Africa.

The Story of Nali Sauce

Nali Limited started in 1974 in Limbe, Malawi. It was founded by a person named Alford Nalilo Khoromana. At first, it was a small business. Later, it became a company called Nali Farms Limited in 1983. Then, in 1985, its name changed to Nali Limited.

Since the early 1970s, Nali has grown and sold spices. This includes the very hot Birds Eye chillies that are only found in Africa. Nali hot sauces are their most popular product.

How Nali Sauce is Made

By the end of 1978, Nali chillies were in high demand. Nali Limited is the only company in Malawi that processes and sells sauces and other food items. They sell these products both in Malawi and to other countries.

Today, Nali works with about 3,000 farmers. These farmers help to grow the special chillies needed to make Nali Sauce.
