Nando Rafael is a former professional footballer who played as a forward. He was born on January 10, 1984. Rafael is from Angola but also played for Germany's youth team. Later in his career, he played three times for the Angola national team.

Nando Rafael's Early Life and Journey
Rafael was born in Luanda, the capital city of Angola. When he was just eight years old, he had to leave his home. This was because of the Angolan Civil War, and sadly, both of his parents had passed away.
He first went to the Netherlands. However, he couldn't get a work permit there. This meant he couldn't play football professionally, which was his dream. So, he had to move to another country to continue his football career.
Nando Rafael's Club Football Career
In 2002, Nando Rafael moved to Germany and joined the football club Hertha BSC. He played there for several years, showing his skills as a forward.
Later, in 2006, he signed with Borussia Mönchengladbach. After that, he moved to Denmark to play for AGF. His first season at AGF was a bit tough because of injuries.
Rafael is known for being a strong player. He is good at holding the ball and also has excellent technical skills. He is also a very good goal scorer.
On January 10, 2010, he joined FC Augsburg in Germany on a loan. A few months later, on July 19, 2010, he signed a two-year contract to stay with FC Augsburg permanently.
In 2013, Rafael decided to try playing football in China. He joined the club Henan Jianye on June 27, 2013. He played there for a while before returning to Germany.

Nando Rafael's journey in international football is quite interesting. He was born in Angola and grew up in the Netherlands. Then, as a teenager, he moved to Germany to play football.
Because he lived in Germany for a long time, he was able to get a German passport. This allowed him to play for the German Under-21 team. He played 13 games for them and scored 5 goals.
Later, he decided to play for his birth country, Angola. He joined the Angola national team for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations. Before that, he played a friendly match for Angola against a Portuguese team called Sporting CP in 2011. He played 3 games for the Angolan national team.
