Naotaka Takeda (武田 直隆, Takeda Naotaka, born July 13, 1978) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a defender.
Early Life and Football Career
Naotaka Takeda was born in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, on July 13, 1978. He loved playing football from a young age. He attended Shimizu Higashi High School where he played on the youth football team.
After high school, he continued his education and played football at the University of Tsukuba. This helped him improve his skills even more.
Joining a Professional Team
In 2001, after finishing university, Naotaka Takeda joined a professional football club. He signed with Albirex Niigata, a team that played in the J2 League. The J2 League is one of Japan's top professional football leagues.
On October 28, 2001, Naotaka Takeda made his professional debut. He played as a right side-back in a match against Sagan Tosu. A side-back is a defender who plays on the side of the field. Their job is to stop the other team from scoring and also help their own team attack.
However, this was the only professional match Naotaka Takeda played. He left Albirex Niigata at the end of the 2001 season. Even though his professional career was short, he was still a part of the exciting world of Japanese football.
