Naotaka Takeda (武田 直隆, born July 13, 1978) is a former Japanese football player. He was born in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. He played as a defender during his career.

Growing Up and Playing Football
Naotaka Takeda was born on July 13, 1978, in Shizuoka, Japan. From a young age, he loved playing football. He went to Shimizu Higashi High School, where he was part of the youth football team.
After high school, Naotaka continued his studies and played football at the University of Tsukuba. This time helped him get even better at the sport.
Becoming a Professional Player
In 2001, after finishing university, Naotaka Takeda joined a professional football club. He signed with Albirex Niigata. This team played in the J2 League, which is one of Japan's top professional football leagues.
On October 28, 2001, Naotaka Takeda played his first professional game. He was a right side-back in a match against Sagan Tosu. A side-back is a type of defender who plays on the side of the field. Their main job is to stop the other team from scoring goals. They also help their own team attack.
