Naoto Otake (born October 18, 1968) is a Japanese football player and manager. He used to play as a defender for the Japan national team. Today, he is the manager of FC Osaka, a club in Japan's J3 League. His younger brother, Masato, was also a football player.

Playing for Clubs
Naoto Otake started his football journey in high school. He played for Tokai University Daiichi High School. After that, he went to Juntendo University and continued playing football there.
In 1991, he joined a team called All Nippon Airways. This team later became Yokohama Flügels when Japan started its first professional football league, the J1 League, in 1993. With Yokohama Flügels, Naoto Otake helped his team win the 1993 Emperor's Cup. This was a big achievement for the club. They also won the 1994–95 Asian Cup Winners' Cup, which is a major competition in Asia.
In 1998, he moved to another club called Kyoto Purple Sanga. He played there until 2001, when he stopped playing professional football.
Playing for the National Team
Naoto Otake also played for the Japan national team. He played one game for Japan in 1994. This game was a friendly match against Australia.
He was also part of the Japan team that won the 1992 Asian Cup. Even though he was on the team, he did not play in any of the games during that tournament.
Becoming a Coach
After he stopped playing, Naoto Otake started a new career as a coach. In 2002, he began coaching at Kyoto Purple Sanga, his former club.
He then coached at Yokohama F. Marinos. In 2010, he became the manager for Iga FC Kunoichi, a women's football club. He managed them until 2012.
Later, he coached at Giravanz Kitakyushu from 2013 to 2015. He returned to Kyoto Sanga FC in 2016 and coached there until 2017. In 2018, he went back to manage Iga FC Kunoichi again.
In 2022, he became the manager for Kagoshima United, a team in Japan's J3 League. Then, on December 12, 2023, it was announced that he would become the manager of FC Osaka starting from the 2024 season.
