Natalie Ann Desselle-Reid (born July 12, 1967 – died December 7, 2020) was an American actress. She was known for her roles in movies like B.A.P.S., Set It Off, and Disney's Cinderella. She also appeared in TV shows such as Eve.

About Natalie Desselle-Reid
Her Early Life
Natalie Desselle-Reid was born in Alexandria, Louisiana. She was one of four children. She went to Peabody Magnet High School and graduated in 1985. Later, she studied at Grambling State University.
Becoming an Actress
While at Grambling State University, Natalie became very interested in acting. She performed in many plays there. Her acting career officially began in 1996 with the movie Set It Off.
In 1997, she played the mean stepsister Minerva in the Disney TV movie Cinderella. This version of Cinderella was special because it had a diverse cast. Natalie also starred in many other films, including Madea's Big Happy Family. She also made a guest appearance in the popular TV show Family Matters.
One of her most famous roles was Mickey in the movie B.A.P.S.. She also played Janie Egins on the TV show Eve for three seasons. Her last role was in the 2017 series Ya Killin' Me.

Natalie Desselle-Reid married Leonard Reid in 2003. They had three children together.
Her Passing
Natalie Desselle-Reid passed away on December 7, 2020, at the age of 53. She died from colon cancer. Many famous people in the entertainment world shared their sadness and paid tribute to her. These included actresses like Eve and Holly Robinson Peete, and actors like Shad "Bow Wow" Moss.
Her co-star from B.A.P.S., Halle Berry, shared a special message. She said that Natalie showed what real Black women were like, not just what people thought they were. Halle Berry added that Natalie's light would keep shining through everyone who watched her and loved her.
