Natasha's Journey as a Poet
Natasha Kanapé Fontaine is famous for her poetry. Her first book of poems, Do Not Enter My Soul in Your Shoes, was released in 2013. This book won her the Prize of the Society of Francophone Writers of America. It was a big award for her first collection!
In 2014, she released her second poetry book, Manifeste Assi. This book was first shown at a special festival called Étonnants Voyageurs. Her poems often talk about her Innu heritage and important social topics.
