Nathan Robert Barragar (born June 3, 1907 – died August 10, 1985) was an American athlete who played both college and professional football. He was also a talented director and producer in movies and television.

Early Life and Family
Nathan Barragar was born in Dearing, Kansas. His father was a clergyman, and his family later moved to Yakima, Washington. Eventually, they settled in Los Angeles, California. Nathan played high school football in San Fernando, California, where he began his journey as a football player.
Football Star: College and Pro Career
Nathan Barragar was an amazing football player. He became an All-American at the USC in 1929. At USC, he played as an offensive lineman, helping his team succeed.
After college, Nathan went on to play professional football. He was an All-Pro player for the Green Bay Packers from 1931 to 1932 and again from 1934 to 1935. He also played for the Minneapolis Red Jackets in 1930 and the Frankford Yellow Jackets in 1930 and 1931. His skills on the field earned him a spot in the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame in 1979. He was also honored by his college, being inducted into the USC Athletic Hall of Fame in 2003.

During World War II, Nathan Barragar served in the United States Army. He reached the rank of Sergeant, showing his dedication to his country.
