Nathaniel Arcand was born on November 13, 1971. He is a Canadian actor. He became well-known for his first big role in the Canadian TV show North of 60. In this show, he played William MacNeil for three seasons. William was a smart but troubled teenager.
In 1997, Nathaniel was nominated for a Gemini Award. This award was for "Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Supporting Role in a Dramatic Series." He was recognized for his work in the North of 60 episode called "Traces and Tracks."

Life and Acting Career
Nathaniel grew up in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He is a Nēhilawē (Plains Cree) person. His family comes from the Buffalo Lake Metis Settlement. His mother and great-grandparents have been very important to him throughout his life.
Nathaniel has three children. His daughter is Trisha O'Chiese. His two sons are Jaden Plaizier and Griffin Powell-Arcand. Griffin is also an actor, just like his dad!
Nathaniel Arcand has been in many TV shows and movies. One of his most recent roles is Mato Summerhill in the Netflix TV series My Life with the Walter Boys.
He also played Scott Cardinal for a long time on the CBC series Heartland. On the TV show Blackstone, Nathaniel plays Victor Merasty. This show explores the power and politics of First Nations communities.
In one of his recent movies, Arcand played Nathan in the comedy-drama Two Indians Talking. This film won the "Most Popular Canadian Film Award" at the 2010 Vancouver International Film Festival.
