National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse facts for kids
The Toulouse Institute of Technology (also known as INPT) is a big group of universities in Toulouse, France. It's part of the larger University of Toulouse. This institute started in 1969.
INPT is made up of seven special schools. Six of these schools teach different types of engineering. The seventh school teaches veterinary medicine. The institute helps students earn advanced degrees like master's degrees and Ph.Ds. It also has 17 research labs where important discoveries are made.

- École nationale supérieure des ingénieurs en arts chimiques et technologiques (ENSIACET): Here, students learn about chemical engineering and industrial processes.
- École Nationale Supérieure Agronomique de Toulouse (ENSAT): This school focuses on agricultural science and food technology.
- École nationale d'ingénieurs de Tarbes (ENIT): Students at ENIT study general engineering, often with a focus on mechanical or industrial engineering.
- École d'ingénieurs de Purpan (EIP): This school teaches about agriculture, food, and environmental management.
- École Nationale de la Météorologie (ENM): This unique school trains experts in meteorology, which is the study of weather and climate.
