The Saline County Bank building at 100 North West Avenue in Western is a historic bank. It was listed on April 5, 1990.

Michael Witt Fachwerkbau

The Michael Witt Fachwerkbau is a unique historic building near Western. "Fachwerkbau" is a German word for a half-timbered building, which means it has a frame of timber beams with the spaces filled in with other materials. This special building was listed on January 14, 1980. Its address is also restricted to protect it.
